How to Do a Remote Interview
Before podcasting became popular, there weren’t many options when it came to interviewing guests on your pod. In order to record with a guest, you had to do it over skype, a conference line, or do it in person. Now that the podcasting industry has evolved, there are multiple ways to record an interview. Zencaster and Streamyard are a few of the platforms you can use to record.
Zencaster
With Zencaster you can send a link to your guest that will allow both you and your guest to show up to a room to record. While you record, you can view the audio. This is beneficial because you’ll be able to see if the audio messed up.
Streamyard
With Streamyard you can create a banner with your information to use when you record your interview. The best thing about this is that you can cast directly to YouTube and Facebook. That way when you finish you can save it and use it as content.
